Where the return comes from

Activity-driven, not APY-driven. The return is what traders pay to use the liquidity.

The principle

AjoHive doesn’t pay you because you deposited. Depositing on its own creates nothing. What creates value is someone using the liquidity your capital provides — a trader swapping one asset for another — and paying a fee to do it. That fee is the return. If there’s no trading, there are no fees, and there’s nothing to promise.

Follow the money

Here is the whole path a fee takes, from a trade to your balance.

TRADER
   | makes a trade
   v
AJOHIVE LIQUIDITY
   | trading fee
   v
PRODUCTIVE VAULT
   |
+-- the majority -> people in the vault
+-- a small share -> AjoHive, for running it

Why there’s no fixed rate

A fixed rate on a market product is a forecast dressed up as a fact. Trading volume rises and falls; fees follow it. Rather than quote a number that might not hold, AjoHive shows you the source and lets the vault’s growth speak for itself. When the market is busy, the vault earns more. When it’s quiet, it earns less.

What this means for you

  • Protected capital doesn’t earn — and isn’t exposed to the markets that make earning possible.
  • Productive capital earns only from real activity, and carries the market risk that comes with being liquidity.
  • You never have to claim small fees one by one. They’re added to the vault, and your share of the vault grows with it.
